Arizona High School Basketball - Metro Tech trounced by North Canyon

January 30, 2020: Phoenix, AZ 85105

In Thursday's non-league bout, the visiting North Canyon Rattlers basketball squad scored a big 63-23 win over the Metro Tech Knights.

With the win, North Canyon upgrades its record to 5-15 on the season. The Rattlers host Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Wolves in a 5A Northeast Valley bout on Friday, January 31. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Desert Mountain lost 69-48 in their recent non-league bout against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ)

Next up, the Knights play the South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro bout, on Friday, January 31. Metro Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 42-29 league win over Fairfax (Laveen, AZ).
