Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 9. Stony Point will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX).

The Unicorns now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Round Rock Westwood for a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 9. New Braunfels will confront a Warriors team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
