The Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) football nudged the visiting Fairfax Rebels (Fairfax, VA), 30-28 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars face the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 6. Oakton will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Rebels (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
