May 6, 2019: Frenchtown, NJ 08825 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ) and the visiting Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ), saw Delaware Valley's softball squad nip Pope John XXIII by a count of 1-0.
The Terriers now sport a 17-0 record. They take the field next when they host High Point for a non-league match on Monday, May 6. Delaware Valley will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Pope John XXIII falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The travel to Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ) to face the Crusaders in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 7. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 3-10.
