In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Western Panthers basketball team scored a good 46-33 triumph over the Tri-Central Trojans.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Maconaquah Braves (Bunker Hill, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 1. Western will attempt to move on its 13-9 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 15-7 record after their 54-46 non-league loss to Kokomo (Kokomo, IN).

With the defeat, Tri-Central moves to 8-13 on the year. The Trojans travel to Delphi Community (Delphi, IN) to meet the Oracles in a Hoosier Heartland match on Friday, January 28.
