Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) and the visiting Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), saw Fairmont's basketball squad overcome Red Springs by a tally of 36-27.

With the victory, Fairmont improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Golden Tornadoes travel to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC) to confront the Gators in a challenge on Tuesday, February 12. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. East Columbus won 30-27 in their recent league challenge against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)

Next up, the Red Devils confront the West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 12. Red Springs will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record.
