The Valentine basketball team (Valentine, NE), dropped 53-43 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE)

The Panthers (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Holdrege (Holdrege, NE). The Dusters go into the non-league outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Holdrege was topped by Southern Valley (Oxford, NE), 42-40, in a non-league outing.

The now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Ogallala for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 12. Valentine will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 35-22 non-league loss to Sidney (Sidney, NE). The Indians record now stands at 9-3.
