The Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ), 17-4 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ) in a 3A South contest, on Tuesday, March 30. Safford will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ).

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Show Low for a 3A East contest on Monday, March 29. Blue Ridge will play a Cougars squad coming off a 19-1 non-league win over Globe (Globe, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.
