August 17, 2018: Lawndale, NC 28090 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Alexander Central Cougars football squad scored a big 40-7 victory over the Burns Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 24. Alexander Central will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 20-14 non-league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).
