Arizona High School Basketball - Cactus topples Desert Edge

January 14, 2020: Glendale, AZ 85306

In Tuesday's league outing, the Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ), by a count of 34-24.

The Cobras (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights go into the 4A West Valley outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Lake Havasu was topped by Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ), 40-31, in a non-league outing.

The Scorpions now hold a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Peoria for a 4A West Valley contest on Thursday, January 16. Desert Edge will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-38 league loss to Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 10-7.
