The Farmville Central Jaguars softball team scored 12 runs and held the host North Johnston Panthers to 3 in the Jaguars non-league win on Wednesday.

The Jaguars now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ayden - Grifton for a Eastern Plains 2A battle on Friday, March 21. Farmville Central will confront a Chargers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, North Johnston moves to 1-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Beddingfield (Wilson, NC) to confront the Bruins in a Neuse Six 2A battle on Thursday, March 20. The Bruins come into the battle with a record of 1-4. Beddingfield lost 22-6 in their recent league battle against Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC)
