The Waverly/South Shore Coyotes basketball team (Waverly, SD), was routed 79-52 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD)

The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lemmon for a non-league battle on Friday, December 28. Northwestern Area will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 63-37 non-league win over Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Cowboys record now stands at 6-1.
