The Union Pines Vikings lacrosse squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting First Flight Nighthawks to 2 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Croatan for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 23. Union Pines will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 10-7 non-league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, First Flight falls to 8-8 on the year.
