In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Sinton Pirates baseball team scored a close 10-3 win over the Taft Greyhounds.

The Pirates (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 16-4 record.

Next, the Greyhounds play the Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 game, on Tuesday, April 1. Taft will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record.
