California High School Basketball - Mercy edges St. Joseph
December 27, 2018: Santa Maria, CA 93455 The Mercy Skippers (San Francisco, CA) basketball nipped the host St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA), 56-49 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Skippers (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Wilcox got by Leigh (San Jose, CA), 81-45, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to San Benito for a non-league test on Saturday, December 29. St. Joseph will encounter a Haybalers squad coming off a 42-39 non-league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA). The Haybalers record now stands at 9-4.
