In Monday's non-league contest, the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), by a margin of 7-0.

With the triumph, Lake Central moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Portage (Portage, IN) to play the Indians in a Duneland contest on Tuesday, April 2. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 0-3. Portage lost 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against Munster (Munster, IN)

In their next game, the Red Devils play the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads contest, on Tuesday, April 2. Lowell will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
