The Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA) basketball nipped the visiting San Bernardino Cardinals (San Bernardino, CA), 62-57 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tornados (15-12) will now prepare for their test against Buckley (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Griffins go into the non-league test with a 18-10 record. In their last test, Buckley got by Temecula Prep (Winchester, CA), 65-51, in a non-league test.
