Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), saw Perry's basketball squad hold off Basha by a score of 68-67.

With the victory, Perry improves its record to 21-8 on the campaign. The Pumas travel to Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 29-3. Pinnacle won 65-57 in their recent non-league test against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ)

The Bears now own a 22-7 record.
