In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Centreville Wildcats basketball team scored a good 64-55 win over the Unity Reed Lions.

The Wildcats (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Chargers come into the District 1 contest with a 7-7 record.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Patriot Pioneers (Nokesville, VA) in a Cedar Run contest, on Thursday, January 23. Unity Reed will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record.
