The Marion Giants (Marion, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins (Fort Wayne, IN), 54-44 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Giants (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN). The Bronchos go into the North Central test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Lafayette Jefferson went down by West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN), 63-58, in a non-league test.

The Bruins now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Fort Wayne Wayne for a Summit test on Friday, January 18. Fort Wayne Northrop will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 77-35 league loss to Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN). The Generals record now stands at 1-17.
