The Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) baseball trounced the host Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 7-0 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Pride play the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 5A San Tan contest, on Monday, March 18. Mountain Pointe will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Colts enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ).

The Knights now sport a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 20.
