February 14, 2019: La Joya, TX 78560 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) and the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), witnessed Port Isabel's softball squad prevail over Juarez-Lincoln by a count of 15-0.
The Tarpons now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Donna for a non-league match on Friday, February 15.
With the loss, Juarez-Lincoln moves to 0-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Falfurrias (Falfurrias, TX) to face the Bulls in a non-league match on Saturday, February 23. The Bulls go into the match with a record of 4-2.
