The Governors now hold a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Gary West Side for a Great Lakes bout on Monday, May 13.

Next, the Cardinals face the Hammond Gavit Gladiators (Hammond, IN) in a Great Lakes bout, on Tuesday, May 14. East Chicago Central will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record. The Gladiators enter the bout with a 7-10 record after their 16-9 non-league loss to Westview (Topeka, IN).
