The Paxton Tigers football team (Paxton, NE), was ripped 72-24 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE)

The Knights (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Maxwell (Maxwell, NE). The Wildcats come into the D2 District 8 (8 Man) challenge with a 1-2 record.

The Tigers now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wauneta-Palisade for a D2 District 9 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 27. Paxton will meet a Broncos team coming off a 26-21 non-league win over Bertrand (Bertrand, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 2-2.
