Game Summary
Morristown played 3 good innings of baseball against Eastern Hancock, but a 10 run fourth inning by the Royals proved to be the difference in the 17-3 loss for the Yellow Jackets. For the second consecutive night Morristown was able to load the bases in multiple innings but continued to fall short of getting more than one run across in the half inning. Devyn Coulter got things started off right away with a lead off triple in the top of the first inning and scoring two pitches later on JD Blackburn's base hit. The Yellow Jacket hitters are starting to gain some confidence late in the season. If the defense continues to improve Morristown could be ready to put up a fight with the sectionals just a few weeks away. Vankirk got the start on the mound and takes the loss. Coulter, Blackburn, Rains, and Espich each had hits for the Yellow Jackets.
