Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge tops Virginia Episcopal School
February 6, 2019: St. George, VA 22935 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) and the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), saw Blue Ridge's basketball squad knock off Virginia Episcopal School by a tally of 55-41.
With the victory, Blue Ridge improves its record to 20-6 on the campaign. The Barons host Bishop Sullivan Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 9. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Bishop Sullivan Catholic won 72-21 in their recent league challenge against Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA)
Next up, the Bishops play the St. Anne's-Belfield Saints (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 8. Virginia Episcopal School will attempt to improve on its 16-7 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 80-46 league win over Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA).
