In Thursday's non-league outing, the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) basketball squad edged the visiting Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE), by a margin of 31-26.

The Plainsmen (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Sandhills/Thedford held off Creek Valley (Chappell, NE), 51-19, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Creek Valley for a non-league outing on Friday, December 21. Wallace will clash with a Storm squad coming off a 51-19 non-league loss to Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE). The Storm record now stands at 1-5.
