Arizona High School Football - San Tan Charter trounces Apache Junction

August 22, 2025: Gilbert, AZ

In Friday's non-league match, the host San Tan Charter Roadrunners football squad scored a decisive 48-7 triumph over the Apache Junction Prospectors.

The Roadrunners now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. San Tan Charter will meet a Sentinels squad coming off a 45-21 non-league loss to Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Sentinels record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Apache Junction drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Prospectors host Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-0. Thatcher won 41-29 in their recent non-league challenge against ALA - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ)
