In Tuesday's non-league match, the host West Lincoln Bears basketball team scored a tight 55-50 triumph over the Lawrence County Cougars.

In their next game, the Bears meet the Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 16. West Lincoln will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 34-28 non-league loss to Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS).
