North Carolina High School Soccer - Granville Central knocks off Northern Vance
April 27, 2018: Henderson, NC 27537 Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Northern Vance Vikings (Henderson, NC), 10-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) in a Northern Carolina 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, April 30. Granville Central will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC).
The Vikings now possess a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southern Vance for a Northern Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, May 2. Northern Vance will confront a Raiders team coming off a 4-0 league win over J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 8-8.
