The Rincon/University Rangers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Mountain View Mountain Lions to 56 in the Rangers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Rangers (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Catalina Foothills edged Nogales (Nogales, AZ), 68-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions battle the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Mountain View will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 67-50 non-league win over Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ).
