Maryland High School Basketball - Wilde Lake can't hold off River Hill
February 2, 2019: Clarksville, MD 21029 The River Hill Hawks basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Wilde Lake Wildecats to 58 in the Hawks league triumph on Saturday.
The Hawks now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hammond for a Howard County contest on Monday, February 4. River Hill will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 94-76 league loss to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD). The Golden Bears record now stands at 6-7.
The Wildecats (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Patterson (Baltimore, MD). The Clippers enter the non-league contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Patterson nudged Benjamin Franklin (Baltimore, MD), 81-66, in a league contest.
