Washington High School Basketball - Mercer Island tops Menlo School
December 29, 2014: Mercer Island, WA 98040 Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA), 59-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mercer Island upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Islanders travel to Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA) to encounter the Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 30. The Lions go into the test with a record of 4-4. Oaks Christian won 63-33 in their recent non-league test against Cleveland (Reseda, CA)
