The Great Bend Panthers football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Valley Center Hornets to 18 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kapaun Mt. Carmel for a non-league battle on Friday, November 2. Great Bend will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 48-28 non-league win over Hays (Hays, KS). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-2.
