West Virginia High School Football - Parkersburg defeats Parkersburg South
September 17, 2021: Parkersburg, WV 26101 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds football squad scored a good 28-19 victory over the Parkersburg South Patriots.
In their next game, the Big Reds clash with the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a Mountain State match, on Friday, September 24. Parkersburg will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 14-13 league win over Hurricane (Hurricane, WV).
The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their match against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs enter the Two Rivers match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, John Marshall ran past Trimble (Glouster, OH), 34-33, in a non-league match.
