Ohio High School Basketball - Valley Forge fells Mayfield
December 22, 2018: Mayfield, OH 44143 Valley Forge Patriots (Parma Heights, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mayfield Wildcats (Mayfield, OH), 51-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley Forge upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Patriots host North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-5. North Olmsted lost 62-40 in their recent league bout against Midview (Grafton, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 29. Mayfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Greenmen go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 65-61 non-league win over Highland (Medina, OH).
