The South Johnston Trojans the visiting Triton Hawks baseball team by a count of 5-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corinth Holders for a 3A Two Rivers bout on Friday, March 27. South Johnston will face a Pirates team coming off a 3-2 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.
