Georgia High School Basketball - Hillgrove nips North Gwinnett
March 8, 2012: Suwanee, GA 30024 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) and the host North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA), saw Hillgrove's basketball squad hold off North Gwinnett by a score of 56-51.
With the victory, Hillgrove improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 9. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 32-0. McEachern won 64-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Norcross (Norcross, GA)
