The Smith Center Redmen football team (Smith Center, KS), was beaten 38-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Marion Warriors (Marion, KS)

The Warriors (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Conway Springs (Conway Springs, KS). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Conway Springs achieved victory over Sterling (Sterling, KS), 52-22, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Smith Center moves to 8-2 on the season.
