Colorado High School Basketball - Wray can't hold off Yuma
January 27, 2018: Wray, CO 80758 The Yuma Indians basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Wray Eagles to 43 in the Indians league triumph on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merino for a 2A/1A Lower Platte match on Friday, February 2. Yuma will meet a Rams team coming off a 45-21 league loss to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO). The Rams record now stands at 5-7.
With the defeat, Wray moves to 11-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Chase County (Imperial, NE) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 30. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 12-7. Chase County won 53-46 in their recent league match against Hershey (Hershey, NE)
