The Fairfax Stampede basketball squad (Laveen, AZ), was nudged 38-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ)

With the victory, Independence advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 8. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
