California High School Baseball - Leigh defeats Homestead

April 21, 2018: Cupertino, CA 95014

Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), 7-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Leigh upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Longhorns host Leland (San Jose, CA) to battle the Chargers in a Mount Hamilton test on Wednesday, April 25. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 10-6. Leland won 6-1 in their recent league test against Pioneer (San Jose, CA)

With the defeat, Homestead falls to 15-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) to battle the Chargers in a De Anza test on Wednesday, April 25. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 14-6.
