Texas High School Basketball - Lone Oak triumphant over Prairiland
January 7, 2025: Lone Oak, TX 75453 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) and the visiting Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX), observed Lone Oak's basketball team overwhelm Prairiland by a margin of 59-35.
The Buffaloes (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Chisum (Paris, TX). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region II District 12 challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, Chisum trounced Prairiland (Pattonville, TX), 55-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Prairiland will attempt to better on its 12-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 75-28 league win over Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX).
