The Christ the King Crusaders baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Polk County Wolverines to 0 in the Crusaders non-league win on Friday.

The Crusaders now own a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Draughn for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Christ the King will play a Wildcats team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-8.

With the defeat, Polk County drops to 12-14 on the year.
