The Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) basketball nipped the visiting St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA), 64-59 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (29-2) will now prepare for their test against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 26-4 record. In their last test, Mater Dei was tipped by JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 67-59, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 23-6 record. They play next when they host JSerra Catholic for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 67-59 non-league win over Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Lions record now stands at 25-5.
