Texas High School Soccer - Chaparral nudged by Salado
January 18, 2025: Salado, TX 76571 Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Salado moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Rockdale (Rockdale, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A Region 3 District 24 test on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-4. Rockdale lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Manor New Tech (Manor, TX)
The Bobcats now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Marble Falls for a non-league test on Friday, January 24. Chaparral will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
