The Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA) basketball edged the visiting El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA), 38-32 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they travel to Whitney for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 19. Eastside will play a Wildcats team coming off a 66-28 non-league win over La Serna (Whittier, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 22-8.

With the loss, El Rancho falls to 21-9 on the campaign.
