Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Akins Eagles (Austin, TX), 9-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Dripping Springs upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 3-5. V.R. Eaton lost 7-4 in their recent non-league battle against Allen (Allen, TX)

With the loss, Akins moves to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 2-5. Pflugerville Connally won 16-0 in their recent non-league battle against Ellison (Killeen, TX)
