The Wakeland Wolverines basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Frisco Raccoons to 45 in the Wolverines league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a 5A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Wakeland will battle a Redhawks team coming off a 44-38 league win over Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks record now stands at 14-10.

The Raccoons (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Titans come into the 5A Region II District 13 contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, Centennial edged Heritage (Frisco, TX), 47-25, in a league contest.
