California High School Football - Palo Alto topples Homestead
October 29, 2010: Palo Alto, CA 94301 The Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) football defeated the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), 35-13 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 5. Palo Alto will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 7-1 record after their 57-7 league win over Cupertino (Cupertino, CA).
The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Wildcats come into the De Anza game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Los Gatos knocked off Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA), 42-0, in a non-league game.
